People Helping People in Granbury, Texas is a 100% volunteer-run nonprofit (established in 1983) that serves Hood County by providing food, clothing and household goods to families in need. They operate a food pantry open Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., distributing thousands of pounds of food each week to dozens of households. In addition, they run resale shops (clothing, furniture, other items) whose proceeds help fund the food programs, and donations are accepted at their location at 306 Kings Plaza in Granbury.
